ELV Electrical Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled ELV Electrical Technician to join our team in [Location]. The role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting extra low voltage (ELV) systems to ensure safety, efficiency, and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission ELV systems including (but not limited to) fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and public address systems
• Inspect and test ELV wiring and devices to ensure functionality and safety compliance
• Diagnose faults in ELV systems and perform repairs or replacements as needed
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Coordinate with other electrical & mechanical trades on site
• Maintain accurate documentation of work carried out, tests, and inspections

Requirements

• Proven experience with ELV systems (installation, maintenance, troubleshooting)
• Good knowledge of safety regulations and standards in Qatar
• Ability to work independently and in team settings
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Technical diploma or equivalent qualification preferred
